Tanzania Aquaculture Organization (TAO) is a private organization located in Mwanza Tanzania, it involves different experts and stakeholders who are interested in Aquaculture, Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences. TAO started in 2020, January 4 where it starts with six (6) members who are professionals in Aquaculture and Aquatic Sciences with degree education level.
The main objective of TAO is to educate the community members who are interested in Aquaculture Business. We provide different services and products concerning aquaculture to all customers from different places. Our services are Online Training and Consultations; Aquaculture and Fisheries Mediator (Agent), Aquaculture Systems Design as well as Aquatic Environmental and Resources Conservation . All these services are provided online and through direct physical contact between the organization and customers.
We manage our services and activities through ONLINE method not only that but also, we can visit your Business directly once you invite us. Through online method, we have account in different social media such as Instagram (User name, official_4tao), twitter (User name, official4tao), Facebook (Tanzania Aquaculture Organization), Telegram (link. https://t.me/official_tao ) , LinkedIn (Tanzania Aquaculture Organization) and through our website.
Our target is to improve the skills and knowledge of the community aquaculture members so as to increase the availability of aquatic products and food in the country. Most aquaculture farmers have insufficient knowledge on fish farming and fishing technology and skills. Also, the market expansion on aquaculture and fisheries products and services as well as equipment is our target. The management of aquatic resources and environment is our priority to make sure that there is sustainable use and utilization of available resources.
